I discovered Discovery on social media a week ago. Just like everyone else, I, too was sceptical about their claims and how one would feel the difference in just one single session. Though sounds too good to be true, I decided to try out their discounted trial session. The result?. I was completely sold. It wasn't an intense workout but it woke up all my lazy muscles and i was perspiring in an air conditioning room. I have just completed my second session of their signature private package this morning and something miraculously happened...I was able to touch my toes while I bent my body. All this while I can never reach for my toes. A big thank you to Hani and Aida, thank you for not only listening to my problem but to work on it. It's a blessing that Discovery has such dedicated and motivating team. I am deeply indebted to their diligent service. Last but not least, I love your place, it's clean and quiet with ample parking space. Love the scent the moment i step in, it gives me a sense of calmness.

"I returned to pilates early this year after being away from organised treatment for two years. I was diagnosed with severe sciatica 15 years ago and had cardiac bypass surgery four years ago. Both of these conditions require constant attention and rehabilitation. While they are different problems just general exercise and nutrition is not sufficient. Pain medication for bad days is not a solution only a short term block.
At 71 years of age my battery of docs commend my physical training but suggested more concentrated and specific attention. Other therapists have helped from time to time but none have solved flexibility and pain issues. I decided to join my wife at Discovery due to her confidence in their ability to help with problems and to understand her discomforts. My reluctance was quickly dissolved.
I found as my sessions progressed that the therapists had listened and were addressing my problems specifically. I have had lower back pain for 15 years. Sometimes just a stiffness in the morning but severe enough to quit golf after 45 years. Now there is NO back pain. My left side weakened by heart surgery is strengthening.

“In late 2016, I hurt my tailbone after slipping off from a pool’s ladder. I couldn’t sit and lay down properly without feeling pins and needles on my lower and upper back. Went for XRay and the doctor suggested MRI as he suspected I may have slipped disc. I was so miserable, for what it seems that my world is about to end (imagine not being able to sit/ stand/ sleep comfortably for more than 15 mins!).
I brought my report and consulted the friendly people at Discovery. I went through few treatment sessions on coccyxdynia combined with controlled Pilates exercises, and after 3 months I feel alive again! I can now sit comfortably again, even on 8 hours flight. Also I learnt that my back pain earlier was largely due to my bad sitting position. Now I’m constantly wary of my posture and way of sitting and suffer less. I was suffering from back pain for so long. I used to receive intervention from modern massage, traditional massage, physiotherapy session and many other alternative treatments but the pain is still there.
The moment I entered your centre I was sceptical that the treatment will be the same. Seeing other people doing Pilates also scared me. It looked painful too.
You started to explain to me and assessed me before proceeding with the program. After 30 minutes session with you I felt so great and it wasn’t painful anymore. “I had a great experience with Discovery Pilates. It was an important, useful and very pleasant part of my life in Kuala Lumpur. I enjoyed Pilates sessions very much. “Dear Keath,
My 86 year-old father, Dr Mohamed Yunus, had been complaining of lower back pain for several weeks. He had tried several different remedies, such as using an infrared heat lamp, yoga, medication and finally resorted to wearing a corset under his clothes to help with the pain, all these to no avail. He was very upset as he is normally an active man. His back pain would even keep him up at night.
Intially he was skeptical that Pilates would help he had been to a chiropractor and he thought that Pilates was similar and would be of no help either.
After the very first session at your studio with Eman, he came out of the room with a big smile waving his hands in the air, demonstrating how ‘loose and free’ his back felt.
Later that night, he called me to thank me as he said it was the first time in weeks that he was comfortable enough to observe his normal prayers. He no longer had to sit on a chair when praying, but could sit comfortably on his prayer mat.
